Chris L. Doster
Chris was born in Glens Falls, N.Y., nominated as “Hometown U.S.A.” by Look Magazine in 1944. Named for the waterfall that flows south of town on the mighty Hudson river, this historic area was the site of many famous battles during the American Revolution as well as the French and Indian war.
At 17 Chris moved to Mobile, A.L., and later attended the University of S. Alabama. After graduating from college, Chris blundered into the medical device sales industry. He was an outside territory manager for 3 international healthcare corporations; 2 ophthalmic product manufacturers, and finally endoscopic devices for gastroenterology.
Discovering the booming skin care and aesthetic industry in 1999, Chris began an independent contractor distribution agency. Coving most of major cities in the South, he promoted some of the most innovative anti-aging products on the market. His phrase “the baby boomers have spoken, skin is in!”, was adopted by many.
Upon moving back home to Upstate N.Y. in 2004, Chris partnered with a board certified plastic surgeon to brand a topical scar modification product; Transdermis Scar TherapyTM. Clinically tested and physician endorsed, it was later sold to a national distribution company, and available in pharmacies across America.
The great game of golf became an important part of life and eventually business for Chris. Encouraged to take up the game during his medical device career, golf would soon transition from an avocation to a vocation! He entered the PGA apprentice program for a time, and later became a new media, digital marketer for the industry.
Chris is dedicated to the discovery of new products, services, ideas and markets that improve the quality of business and life. After working with his college friend and mentor, digital strategist Mark Meyer, Chris founded Top Hat Enterprises in 2016. Our mission is to help businesses “Find their game, before they lose their minds”
Marc T. Meyer
Starting with the first website he built in 1998, Marc knew he had found his niche. Through the years, the evolution of his digital marketing work has spanned from startups to the Fortune 100. Marc founded DRMG (Digital Response Marketing Group) out his adopted home in Naples, FL to help companies, “Move the needle“.
With 20+ years of creating digital strategies, Marc is uniquely qualified to weigh in on your next digital marketing strategy session. He specializes in social media marketing, social media education and evangelism, online brand development, web site optimization, organic and paid advertising, web site design, reputation management and CX consultation.
A native of New Orleans, LA, Marc met Chris at the University of S. Alabama where they both eventually graduated. Competitive athletics was their early bond, particularly basketball. Marc was a 3 sport varsity letterman in high school, and a key team member on the National collegiate flag football champions the 6 Pack Allstars!
In 2016 he was a co-founder of DFI (Digital Futures Initiative), a non-profit organization to help bridge the socio-digital gap between parents, children, and educators created by mobile devices, social media and technology.
Chris and Marc have collaborated on multiple projects since 2008. From skin care and aesthetics, health and medical devices, and of course the golf space, they strive to help you grow your game!
